Online Lecture and Assignment

As class was cancelled today, you will have an online lecture and assignment. Please refer to the Course Content section on Blackboard. There, you will find a file titled "Using Sources." Read this for information on summarizing, quoting, and paraphrasing. Then, PRINT and read the article titled "Science Courses Key to Future Jobs" which is also posted to the Course Content section of Blackboard. You will need a 150-word summary of the article (no opinion, just summary based on the description of summarizing from the handout) as well as a 150-word response to what is being said in the article. Bring your summary / response typed and printed on Monday, as well as the printed copy of the "Science Courses" article. You will also need your Contemporary Reader and the assignment that was due today. Email with questions.
